We're a young company and our range of publications is small, but plans are in place to release many exciting titles in the coming years. Freight Costs
Australia Post is used for all deliveries, including International orders which are sent via Air Mail.
Bookstores and dealers should contact us to discuss terms and the discount schedule before placing an order through this website.
   
Payment
Credit cards are handled by the secure server of Eway - Leaping Horseman Book's online payment processor - and charged the same day as the order. Dispatch will occur within 2 business days. We accept Visa and Mastercard (no Amex or Diners Club, sorry.
Payment of goods via PayPal is also accepted.
If you do not wish to pay via credit card, other payment options are available, such as bank cheque, direct debit or money order (money order option available to Australia only. Foreign money orders – including US – cannot be accepted). If you wish to pay via one of these methods, please contact us via email. We will give you an order reference number which needs to be written on the back of your cheque/money order. Then, send it to:

Please note that your book will not ship until payment has been received. Also, cheques in non-Australian currency will incur an AUD10.00 processing fee and placed on a 28 day clearing period (as stipulated by Australian banking regulations). Only after the cheque has cleared can your book be sent.
   
Refund policy
We guarantee that all books are packed securely and will reach you in good condition. If they do not, please contact us within 30 days of receipt and we will replace or refund the full cost of the book. Shipping costs are not subject to refund, unless the book is damaged or the wrong book was shipped to you.
   
Security
At Leaping Horseman Books, we consider the security of your personal information to be of paramount importance. We have implemented a number of security measures designed to provide you with peace of mind when making your purchase.
E-Way, the online payment processor for Leaping Horseman Books, uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your credit card details are kept secure. SSL has become the universal standard on the Web for authenticating Web sites to Web browser users, and for encrypting communications between browser users and Web servers. Leaping Horseman Books does not keep records of your credit card information. If fraudulent charges are ever made on your credit card arising from transactions made from this site, you will not be liable for them.

Leaping Horseman Books respects your right to privacy under the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth of Australia) and is required to comply with the National Privacy Principles in respect to the collection of personal information from individuals.
Personal information: Be assured that we keep all personal information submitted to us in the strictest confidence. It is only used to process your order and for our own marketing purposes. We do not keep records of your credit card information and we do not rent or sell your personal information to any third party without your permission. However, we must fully cooperate should a situation arise where we are required by law to provide information about a customer.
Email address: Leaping Horseman Books will record your e-mail address when you order a book. All customers are added to our mailing list to receive updates about forthcoming publications. Recipients of these updates may choose to 'unsubscribe' from our list. We do not use your e-mail address for any other purpose, and will not disclose it to others, without your consent.
Cookies: When you add books to your shopping cart, a small text file, known as a "cookie" is stored on your computer. This file contains unique information that allows the site to identify you. Cookies are used to make your shopping experience at Leaping Horseman Books easier. It is our policy not to make use of cookies for marketing purposes.
